How long does setup take?

Most businesses are up and running within a few minutes. You describe your idea, Willo provisions your website, sets up your infrastructure, and Willo starts working immediately. No configuration required.

Do I need any technical skills?

Accepted Answer

None whatsoever. Willo is designed for entrepreneurs, not developers. If you can describe your business idea in plain English, you can run a business on Willo. Willo handles all the technical complexity behind the scenes.

Am I still in control of my business?

Accepted Answer

Completely. You're the founder. Willo makes the changes you ask for straight away, and each one can be undone. Anything that can't be undone or reaches other people, like an email send, stops for your approval first. Chat with Willo any time to redirect strategy, request changes, or build new features. It follows your lead.

Is this really "set it and forget it"?

No, and that's by design. On paid plans the Growth Engine can work through your roadmap between chats, but it only proposes changes to your site and never emails your list. The calls only you can make (positioning, pricing, which audience to pursue) come to you. Plan on 15–30 focused minutes a week to review and steer. What kinds of businesses can I build?

Willo works for digital and content-driven businesses: newsletters, blogs, digital product and template shops, online courses, lead-gen sites, consulting and service businesses, and info products that sell through Stripe. Every business also gets its own backend (a real database, auth, and APIs) so Willo can build app-like features, dashboards, and custom logic, not just marketing pages. If it lives on a website and collects email or payments, Willo can run it.

Is my business data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Willo only accesses the tools and accounts you explicitly connect. We never sell or share your business data. You can export or delete everything at any time.

Can other Willo customers see my business data?

Accepted Answer

No. Every business on Willo is completely isolated from every other at the database level. Your data is separated by a unique tenant ID, and Row-Level Security policies on the database mean queries from one business physically cannot return data belonging to another. Even while Willo is working, it only has access to your specific business context, never another customer's.

Does Anthropic train its AI models on my business data?

Accepted Answer

Under Anthropic's current API usage policy for paid customers, data sent through the API is not used to train their models by default. Willo accesses AI through the Anthropic API, so this policy applies to how your data is handled. That said, Willo has no control over Anthropic's policies and can't make permanent guarantees on their behalf. If this is critical for your business, we recommend reviewing Anthropic's Privacy Policy directly. Willo's liability for third-party provider data handling is limited in our Terms of Service and AI Use & Disclosure Policy.

Start free — 40 credits and unlimited chat, no credit card required. Paid plans share one pool of credits across every business you run: Starter ($25/mo, 150 credits, up to 3 businesses), Builder ($49/mo, 300 credits, up to 6), Growth ($99/mo, 600 credits, up to 12), and Scale ($199/mo, 1,300 credits, up to 25). How is this different from using ChatGPT or Claude?

ChatGPT and Claude are general-purpose chat tools. Willo is a full business platform. It doesn't just answer questions, it takes action. Willo deploys websites, writes content, drafts your email campaigns, and reads your revenue. On paid plans, the Growth Engine keeps working between chats. You get a team that's there 24/7, not a chatbot you have to prompt for every step.

What is the Decision Register?

Willo logs significant decisions (from naming your business to pivoting your strategy) with the reasoning and a confidence score, and later the outcome. You see them in Business → Activity, and you answer the ones waiting on you in chat. It's a record of your business's strategic history.

How does the Growth Engine decide what to work on?

Accepted Answer

It plans from your goals and real data: site analytics for traffic, Stripe for revenue, and how earlier tasks turned out. It scores each task on your roadmap by expected impact and effort, then works top-down through the list. It doesn't guess. It uses the same data you'd use to decide. The Growth Engine is on paid plans and ships switched off; you turn it on in Settings.

Can I run more than one business?

Yes. One subscription covers every business you run — they all draw from a shared credit pool, and each plan includes a business allowance, from 3 on Starter up to 25 on Scale. Each business gets its own AI team, website, and infrastructure, and you switch between them from the same dashboard.

Can I connect my own domain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plans from Builder up include connecting custom domains. Every business starts on a bywillo.ai address, fully deployed and live from day one, and you can point your own domain at it when you upgrade.

How does Willo handle payments for my business?

Accepted Answer

Stripe is fully wired into the platform. On a paid plan, a quick ~2 minute Stripe setup activates it. Once connected, payments from your customers go straight to your bank account. Willo takes no cut of your revenue. We charge for the platform subscription, not a percentage of what you earn.

What if I want to change direction or pivot?

Just tell Willo in chat. It responds to strategic direction, not a fixed playbook. A pivot gets logged in the decision register with your reasoning, and your roadmap and the next piece of work follow the new direction.

Yes. Business → Activity lists every change Willo made to your site, with an Undo, alongside the decisions it logged and the tasks the Growth Engine finished. Nothing happens in the dark.

Undo it. Changes to your site show in Business → Activity with an Undo. Anything that can't be undone, like an email send or deleting data, stops for your approval first. Posts the Growth Engine writes wait as drafts unless you turn on auto-publish, and site changes it wants to make wait for your approval.
